Oakridges Master Bathroom Renovation (Part 2 / 3) - The Floor.

Continuing with highlighting another great feature in this black and white themed master bathroom is the new tiled floor.

Patterned floors have become a very popular option for tile selection, and when paired correctly with the other main features in a room they can really make an area pop. From a design standpoint it is always important to not go too busy with other features in a space when selecting a bold tile like this. The way this floor blends in with the black and white theme of the other main features in the bathroom works perfectly, with the floor providing that bold sense of style as soon as you enter the bathroom.

A great feature of this floor tile upgrade is the fact that it features in-floor heating. That means saying good bye to that cold feeling on the bottom of your feet when entering the room, along with an acceleration of moisture evaporation from water on the floor after using the shower.

The temperature of the heated floor can be conveniently adjusted by its dedicated thermostat above the light switches in the room, and as a unique design feature the toilet flush buttons and seat anchors were also changed to black, continuing the black and white theme through even the smaller elements in the bathroom.

Lastly, the tile-in Aria floor vent is always a nice touch to any new floor. Given the fact the floor is a patterned design it made continuing the tile through the vent a little more of a challenge versus a non-patterned tile. However it was well worth the extra time to continue it perfectly through the vent, making it another unique design element within this bathroom floor.
