This washroom was given a lot of personality and style with this Calacatta porcelain tile.  The tub, tub fixtures, and toilet were all replaced in this condo ensuite washroom. By going bigger with 24" x 24" tile and keeping the grout lines small, it nearly gives the walls a look of being tiled all in one piece.  The wall tile has a glossy finish which helps to reflect light throughout the room, encouraging a feeling of spaciousness.  However the matching floor tile is not glossy, but rather a matte finish.  This was done by design to increase traction when walking on the tile when wet, versus the ultra smooth finish of gloss which can result in a much greater chance of slipping.  Although the finishes differ, the tile patterns remain very similar and give the feel of flowing into each other from the floor up through the walls.
