This newly renovated basement was getting close to being ready for everyday use and was in need of having its finished millwork installed.

The homeowners wanted to have that high quality feel when it came to the finished trim and doors and elected to go with all solid wood core doors with 5” x 5/8” base throughout the basement.

Due to the house being older, some of the original door openings were of uncommon sizes in terms of width and wall thickness. Therefore the jamb sets for each of these doors were custom cut and assembled before installation.

The windows in the main living space of the basement had their interior jambs and perimeter casing installed, and the doors entering the living space were installed featuring frosted glass to provide an upscale look.
