The Master bathroom located on the second floor of this Oakridges town home became unrecognizable in all the best ways after this beautiful renovation.

As far as master bathrooms go, the footprint of the room was a good size, but as a whole the room really wasnt living up to its full potential. The biggest issue in this room was definitely the enclosed shower stall which not only made the inside of the shower feel dark and cramped, but also really diminished the amount of natural light exposure in the rest of the bathroom. Removing the framed walls around the existing shower and opting instead for a more open glass enclosure now brings in plenty of light to the shower, and makes the entire room feel way bigger and brighter.

The new shower walls were tiled with large 48” x 24” white tile featuring a black calcatta vein with a tonne of character, and these same tiles were continued up the curb and throughout the entire bathroom. The grout lines of these tiles were kept lighter to make sure the emphasis stayed on the stunning vein of the tile.

The large tile in this bathroom already brings a lot of beauty, but the style of the shower was taken up a notch further with the mosaic tile strip vertically installed up the wall flowing from the flat river rock shower floor featuring a tile-in drain.

Adding some more flare to this shower is the 6” black quartz shower curb, and a black tile edge around the shelf niche to match the minimalistic shower faucet unit.
