Improper installation of this shower the first time around resulted in this being another re-do renovation. Improper boarding resulated in rotten walls, with tiles barely hanging on, and a familiar moldy smell due to a niche being installed on an exterior wall. A shower gut was the answer to solve these issues, and revive this shower.

New white subway tile was installed on the walls to brighten up the room and give a clean look. The tile extends across the shower ceiling, and a niche was added on an interior partition wall away from the majority of water flowing from the shower head. The existing sliding shower door was still in great shape and therefore was carefully disassembled and re installed to keep the element of beauty it adds to this ensuite washroom.
