A quick and cost efficient approach was the mentality taken towards brightening up this kitchen.

This home was to be listed for sale on the market and was in need of some aesthetic improvements to liven up the space to make it more appealing for potential buyers.

This was achieved in the kitchen by installing new light coloured glossy finish 12” x 24” floor tile, along with replacing the existing brown laminate countertops with white quartz countertops. To keep this quick reno project as cost efficient as possible, the new tile was installed directly over the existing 12” x 12” beige builders tile. This eliminated a lot of cost associated with chipping out the old floor tile, along with keeping dust to a minimum. Money was also saved by being able to keep the existing glass mosaic backsplash. This created an extremely tight squeeze and a more difficult install for the new countertop, but the final result and financial savings were well worth it.
